Ray Stantz Exposed

Well, okay, probably not what you thought "exposed" meant (lol)

I almost always draw Ray with his Ecto Goggles and work gloves, as a way of differentiating him from the others, but here he is without them: it's a photoshop of my "stock" picture of Ray.

It's also a bit of a test of colors. It's obvious if you follow my art I stick to the animated likenesses of the Ghostbusters, but over time have endeavored to make the props and uniform features more accurate to the movie versions; thus the greater detail on the utility belt, and the more movie-styled proton pack than when I originally drew the picture.

When I scanned in the drawings six years ago, I tried to match the uniform colors to the pencil colors I'd been using, which in turn were an attempt to match the colors in the comics and memories of the cartoons (which led to some inaccuracies, like my long time error of painting Venkman's color a straight blue). Ray's flight suit here is a darker, greyer tone than before, a better attempt to match the movie props and the animation colors (which was supposed to be the same save for the collar and cuffs)
